The Centre for Youth AOD Practice believes that all young people can increase control over their alcohol and drug use – and they work tirelessly to help the youth affected.
We were introduced to The Centre early on – in fact, they didn’t even have a name!
Straight away, we sensed that this would be a special project. Our first task was to develop an organisational chart that demonstrated the structure and interactivity of four expertise areas: Practice, Education, Research and Advocacy.
The finished diagram helped define The Centre’s direction and became the inspiration for the brand mark.
From the outset, our goal was to create something that would motivate employees, stakeholders and benefactors. We chose a bright colour palette that would identify each sector individually, and elicit a feeling of positive connectivity.
As brand curators, we produced all of the marketing collateral for The Centre, including websites, sub-brand logos, brochures, banners and more.
Our ability to transform hard-to-grasp concepts into consistent brand and design work ultimately helped The Centre secure much-needed funding to grow and increase their good work within the youth work community.
It continues to be an absolute pleasure working with this inspirational organisation.
Elegant design – complex concepts expressed simply – respectful communication – Graeme consistently delivers work with a real world edge that is also rich with artistic flair. We have now collaborated on several projects. The design process invariably helps us clarify and further develop our ideas and the results are plain to see.
